Norwich City will be sending an Under-19 squad to the 50th International Tournament of Olympia Laupheim in South Germany this weekend.
The Anniversary tournament sees some past winners invited. Norwich won the tournament themselves three years in succession from 1978 to 1980. In their group games on Saturday the Canaries face Skoda Xanthi from Greece (three-time winners from 2008 to 2012) and Fortuna Düsseldorf (winners in 2012).
The other group sees Aston Villa, VfB Stuttgart and hosts Olympia Laupheim in action before placement matches are played on Sunday.
FONCY will be represented at the tournament and reporting on progress via facebook and twitter (@GermanCanary) as well as later via this website.
