FA Youth Cup - Match Off

According to the FA website, the FA Youth Cup 4th Round clash with Millwall is now scheduled to be played at Carrow Road on Thursday 31st January (7pm) after two postponements this month due to the adverse weather conditions.

The winner of the tie will have another home game against Birmingham City or Bristol Rovers who are also now due to play on the same evening.

Norwich City Under-18s return to Academy action this Saturday with a home game against Arsenal. Kick-off at Colney is 12 noon.

The new Academy Group for the New Year brings some interesting opponents to Colney and some long trips for the Academy team away from home. On 26th January Angus Gunn is likely to return to Colney with Manchester City, while the other teams in the group are Aston Villa...

A Norwich City Under-13 squad travel to Germany this weekend to take part in the U13 Euro-Cup indoor tournament being staged by Viktoria Heiden. Heiden is a small town in rural Münsterland, north of the Ruhr Valley.

City play their group stage on friday evening and face German sides Hamburg SV, MSV Duisburg, RW Essen and VfR Aalen with v.v. Neptunia...

An Under-13 squad travelled to Germany to take part in the U13 Euro-Cup in Heiden at the weekend and was very young side in comparison to the other teams taking part. On a very overcast Saturday morning, both teams kindly remembered and paid their respects with a minutes silence to the bereavement during the past week of Alf Thain. Alf had supported the Hammers since the 1930s, especially enjoying his youth football over many years. Flowers were laid in the centre circle.
