Everyone connected with Friends of Norwich City Youth would like to add their congratulations to the Academy Under-18 squad, Neil Adams, Ricky Martin and all at the Academy on the marvelous achievement of winning the FA Youth Cup this season.
Moments like this are great for all supporters and particularly those at FONCY who have followed the progress of many of the team through the Academy over recent years. It is the result of a great deal of hard work from all involved at the Academy.

With the first leg of the FA Youth
Cup Final only two days away, it was more or less an Under-16 side
which represented Norwich in this Under-18 Academy League match.
Ex-Norwich Manager Bryan Gunn was in attendance, but his son,
Angus, only had a place on the bench for the visitors. With Ian
Butterworth and Peter Grant (his son was playing for Norwich)
also watching, it was quite a managers reunion on this

The Canaries progressed to the
quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup with an extra time winner
over Birmingham City at Carrow Road.
Neil Adams’ young guns now face a
quarter-final date away to Everton, a position they last found
themselves in back in 2008 when they went out by the only goal of
the game away to Manchester City.

Two headed goals from defender
Harry Toffolo was enough to see Norwich overcome Millwall at Carrow
Road to earn a home tie against Birmingham City who beat Bristol
Rovers by the only goal of their game.
Thursday’s game went ahead at the
third attempt after twice being postponed due to the recent blanket
