Both teams went into the game
having been in FA Youth Cup action against Brighton and Chelsea
respectively during the week. The teams would have met in the fifth
round had Norwich not lost out unluckily to Chelsea on
penalties.
But it was back to action in the
Premier Academy League today, although both sides had to wait an
extra 30 minutes for kick-off to give the frozen pitch a chance to
thaw.
When they did start Norwich kept
out a penalty from Turgott who had been with England U17s in Mexico
last season. He was denied with his spot-kick and also with is
chance...

There was heartbreak for Ricky
Martins side as they were knocked out of the F.A. Youth Cup after a
penalty shoot-out against Chelsea at Carrow Road.
The Canaries had the better chances
throughout the game but some less than convincing finishing and a
couple of good saves from Chelsea keeperJamal Blackman saw the game
in front of over 1000 fans decided on penalties.

A goal fifteen minutes before full
time saw Arsenal take all three points at Colney in a game that was
ruined by the conditions with a near to gale force wind blowing
throughout the match.

Ricky Martin saw his side cruise
into the fourth round of the FAYouth Cup with a resounding 5-0
victory over Oldham Athletic at Carrow Road.
Following on from their comfortable
win against Ipswich on Saturday it was more of the same against
Oldham who were on the back foot throughout the game.
It took them six minutes to open
the scoring against Ipswich on Saturday...
